Pet Health Radio
Not long ago HealthRadio.net approached us here at Drs. Foster and Smith about being part of a new initiative they were starting: Pet Health Radio! With our expertise as a veterinarian-owned company that has a staff of veterinarians on hand, as well as other pet care experts like our pharmacists, Pet Health Radio felt that we’d be the perfect partner to provide the on-air expertise for their new radio program.
We agreed! And so the fun has begun.
Each Tuesday from 3pm – 4pm EST, one of our veterinary team members or other experts, is live online, on-air with host Barbara Beach, covering topics that are important to pet owners. You can listen to the live broadcast while shopping on our main Drs. Foster & Smith website. During the live broadcast, there will magically appear a “Veterinarians Live” button on our home page that will allow you to listen in while shopping for Fido or Fluffy. Just “click” and you are good to go!
For live or archived shows you can also go to the Drs. Foster & Smith educational website, PetEducation.com, and click on the “Veterinarians Live” button in the lower left navigation area. That button will take you to this page on HealthRadio.net where you can see some of the things that have been covered in this new pet health focused online radio program.
Dr. Kathy, Dr. Scott and Dr. Holly
For example, Puppy 101 was covered by our Dr. Scott McKay; The Human-Animal Bond was covered by our Dr. Kathy Hillestad; and Agility and Sports for Your Dog was covered by our Dr. Holly Nash. In addition to the interaction of our veterinary team with host Barbara Beach, Barbara provides opportunities for listeners to have their questions answered by our vets, and even brings on celebrity guests who are pet lovers or experts in some way. Look for some fun upcoming episodes on PetHealthRadio.net!
Host Barbara Beach is a pet lover herself who own collies, and has been an entertainment writer for the Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Daily News, is a seasoned broadcaster with two Master’s Degrees and a PhD, and keeps the conversation lively and on target!
PetHealthRadio.net is a fun pet friendly destination providing expert information—if we do say so ourselves—from the expert staff of Drs. Foster and Smith. We hope you’ll listen in each Tuesday!
