Leo Laurence, J.D.
Leo Laurence, J.D. of San Diego is a speaker for the nationwide organization, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition. It has headquarters in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. He lives in Hillcrest/San Diego.
Mr. Laurence is a former deputy sheriff. He served in the D.A.'s office where he was part of the Biker Enforcement Task Force. It prosecuted the bad elements in the Hells Angels motorcycle club. That caused a "contract" to be placed on his head. He slept with a .38 snub-nose revolver under his pillow. ("Better than today's popular automatics," he says candidly.)
He holds a law degree, and completed an unprecedented, 4-year, post-doctoral study in appellate law at the state Court of Appeal in San Diego. He mentors two law students: an Asian and a Mexican.
He proudly served 5-years as a bombero (a Mexican firefighter) in Tijuana and holds dual citizenship with México.
He is the editor of San Diego News Service, which provides local news to 302 news media worldwide. He serves on the National Committee on Diversity of the Society of Professional Journalists, the San Diego chapter of Latino Journalists of California, is a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon, international fraternity and is a Master Mason from a lodge in New York.

Seth Ginsberg was diagnosed at age 13 with Spondyloarthropathy, a degenerative form of arthritis. He co-founded CreakyJoints in 1999, at the age of 18, in order to help fellow arthritis sufferers understand the benefits of exercise, diet, a positive mental outlook, and a productive relationship with their doctor. CreakyJoints is now a part of the larger non-profit advocacy group, the Global Healthy Living Foundation (of which he is the President), which provides education about many forms of chronic illness.
Ginsberg is co-founder and President of TGI Healthworks, a company that produces and executes branded, measurable grassroots education events for patients, caregivers and healthcare providers. As the primary company spokesperson, Ginsberg is a frequent speaker at colleges, universities, and health and medical conferences. As a spokesperson for the Arthritis Huddle from the ages of 19-24, he and football legend Joe Namath traveled throughout the United States to over 100 cities – speaking to healthcare providers, patients and caregivers about health and wellness.
Ginsberg graduated from Babson College in Boston with a B.S. in Social Entrepreneurship in 2003.

Jonathan Perri is the Associate Director of Students for Sensible Drug Policy, an international grassroots network of student chapters working to reduce the harms that both drug abuse and drug policies have on our communities, and feel that the War on Drugs is failing our generation and our society.
Jon is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire where he earned his degree in Psychology. Before coming on staff with Students for Sensible Drug Policy, he worked for Phoenix House as a substance abuse counselor in a residential treatment center for teens.

John Masterson is the founder and director of Montana NORML, the statewide chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana laws. He and his wife Heather have run the organization since 1998.
